Here are my answers that may help calm your nerves.
Marriage is a big step in a relationship – let’s make you feel confident in your choice of officiant!
Are you legally authorized to perform weddings?
Absolutely! I am a fully licensed wedding officiant, legally authorized to perform weddings in Ontario. That means your marriage will be official and legal.
I focus on providing services in Barrie, Orillia and the wider Simcoe County area.
Do you perform non-religious or interfaith ceremonies?
Yes! I specialize in non-denominational, interfaith, and personalized ceremonies that reflect you. Whether you want a secular, spiritual, mixed-faith, or completely unique ceremony, I’ll craft something meaningful and true to your love story.
Can we write our own vows?
Of course! Your vows are the heart of your ceremony, and I love when couples write their own. If you need guidance, I’m happy to help with structure, inspiration, or even vow coaching if you get stuck!
Will you marry us if we’re part of the LGBTQ+ community?
Yes, yes, YES! Love is love, and I am honoured to officiate weddings for all couples. Your love story is beautiful, and I can’t wait to celebrate it with you.
How long does a ceremony usually take?
Most ceremonies last between 10-20 minutes, but the length is entirely up to you. Whether you want short and sweet or a more detailed ceremony with special readings or rituals, I’ll make sure it’s exactly what you envision.
What happens if you’re unable to officiate on our wedding day?
Though I take every precaution to be there, life happens! In the rare case of an emergency, I have a network of trusted, licensed officiants I can call on to ensure your ceremony goes smoothly.
